Incidentally,
when Peter's fellow air personalities used to refer to him as "P.U.",
it wasn't that Peter had an odor problem, but that he was given the nickname
by former midday man, Joe "wee wee" Gallagher who shortened, "Peter
Ulysses" to
"P.U." The rest of the air staff at the time found "P.U."
conveniently easy to
use....much to the chagrin of "The Boss." Today Peter lives in Orlando and
can often be heard
on CBS Radio News.
