While technically not a caricature, it's probably a lot more accurate than Jay would like to think. When the sales department made their trek to New York to sell their station to national ad buyers, a slick package of material about the station, its ratings, personalities and format were always part of the presentation. To those ad buyers far from Syracuse, this was one way to get to know a powerful full service A.C. station and what it offered to a big Central New York audience.
