"In His Own Words"

When I came on board at WHEN, I was at a crossroads. Ready to give up on radio, yet I still couldn't get it out of my system. ( I have to admit it's still there today - it never does leave you!) I figured working part-time would be the ideal situation for me. I'm glad that I made that decision. I count the time that I spent at WHEN among my favorite memories in radio. Radio stations true to their nature are living things. They all have unique personalities - the persona of the station is of course, the sum total of the personalities that are the staff. WHEN had a great personality. I consider myself lucky to have worked with all of you. I was made to feel welcome and part of the station immediately. I loved the studio, and knowing that the studio that I was working in was a part of Syracuse radio history. Whether it was joking with Phil on a Saturday morning, or yakking it up with Scotty, or joking with the rest of the guys, it was great. It's been many years since I sat in that chair, but I thank everyone for some terrific memories.
